About Lundby Åkeriet
AB Lundby Åkeriet is a Swedish transport company that has been in the business for 100 years. They offer safe and secure transport of containers and trailers to and from terminals, local part-load and sub-supplier transports, and transportation of special cargo in and around Gothenburg.
The acquisition on 1st of September 2023 includes 42 trucks and 75 trailers along with customer and supplier contracts. Lundby’s customer base is well known to DFDS, and the transport services offered are akin to our existing trucking business in the region, including the growing automotive industry. Lundby Åkeriet will be DFDS Logistics Services AB going forward.
